Doug Thome began his career building custom homes as his father’s apprentice. Throughout high school and college he furthered his education working for various construction companies, eventually landing a position as a designer for a custom storage company in Chicago. Working for a large, static corporation inspired Doug to strike out on his own. Thomeworks offers a dynamic and collaborative experience for homeowners that bigger companies cannot, while still delivering high-quality designs and products. Doug works, along with an assistant, to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are designed in partnership with his clients, always focusing on customer satisfaction.
